The forms of facelift (F.) include the following classic variants:
- Medium facelift:
The cheek area is tightened. The nasolabial folds can also be improved in this way. - Lower face lift:
This is also known as a neck lift. The lower jaw area and the neck can be tightened. - Upper F.
This usually involves the temples (also known as a temporal lift). The area of the crow’s feet and the temples is gently smoothed. - Forehead:
Smoothing forehead wrinkles is the aim of a forehead lift. This is one of the forms of facelift that are rarely used in the age of Btx. - Midface: Here, an incision is made to tighten the lower eyelids. The main aim here is to reposition the cheek tissue and fill in the tissue loss at the transition to the lower eyelid.
