<\/a>or injections.<\/p><div class=\"et_pb_toggle_content clearfix\"><h3>Filling the volume of the cheeks with fillers<\/h3><p>This is not an operation, but an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yuveo.de\/en\/op\/without-surgery\/\">injection<\/a>. The most commonly used <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yuveo.de\/en\/lexikon\/filler-for-wrinkles-and-face\/\">filler<\/a> is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yuveo.de\/en\/folds\/wrinkle-treatment-with-hyaluronic-acid\/\">hyaluronic acid<\/a>. However, other materials can also be used, such as fillers based on hydroxyapatite. This gel-like material breaks down completely after a while and therefore needs to be injected repeatedly by us to maintain the result. More viscous cross-linked hyaluronic acids last <strong>for over a year<\/strong>.    <\/p><h3>Cheek corrections with autologous fat at the Yuveo Clinic in D\u00fcsseldorf<\/h3><p>If you would like the effects to last longer, but are reluctant to have your cheeks corrected with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yuveo.de\/en\/lexikon\/cheek-implants\/\">cheek implants<\/a>, there is also the option of using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yuveo.de\/en\/op\/autologous-fat-treatment\/\">your own fat<\/a>. This has the advantage that it is not foreign tissue or material. This method is an alternative for patients who are not attracted to either hyaluronic acid or cheek implants.  <\/p><p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yuveo.de\/en\/op\/autologous-fat-treatment\/\">autologous fat injection<\/a> begins with a small <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yuveo.de\/en\/op\/body\/liposuction-duesseldorf\/\">liposuction<\/a>, i.e. a minor procedure. We filter the extracted fat and then inject it into the cheek. <\/p><h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yuveo.de\/en\/lexikon\/cheek-implants\/\">Cheek augmentation with cheek implants<\/a><\/h3><p>This is a cheek augmentation operation. It requires at least <strong>twilight sleep<\/strong> or, better still, <strong>general anesthesia<\/strong>. We make an incision in the mucous membrane on the inside of the mouth to prepare a pocket into which the cheek implant is inserted. Choosing the right implant is important, as there are different shapes, not all of which necessarily look good.
