The permanent irritation leads to a non-bacterial <strong>inflammatory reaction<\/strong> in the area of the <strong>periosteum<\/strong> (periosteum). <\/p><p>This inflammation of the periosteum is mainly responsible for the <strong>pain symptoms<\/strong> of tennis elbow.<\/p><p>However, in hand surgery it is also assumed that chronic <strong>cramping of<\/strong> the corresponding surgery<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-64bc7757 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"64bc7757\" months of <strong>conservative treatment<\/strong>, there is still no reduction in tennis elbow symptoms, or if they even worsen, <strong>surgery<\/strong> should be considered depending on the symptoms.<\/p><p>The procedure can be performed <strong>on an outpatient basis<\/strong> at the Yuveo Clinic in D\u00fcsseldorf if there are no reasons (secondary diseases) for not doing so.<\/p><p>An intravenous regional anesthesia, plexus anesthesia (anesthesia in the <strong>armpit<\/strong>) or, in special cases, <strong>general anesthesia<\/strong> are possible anesthetic procedures.<\/p><p>In the case of <strong>tennis elbow<\/strong>, the<strong> origins of the muscles attached to <\/strong> the outer elbow (humeral cartilage) and further away from the body are<strong> detached <\/strong>(Hohmann surgery). The outer elbow ligaments should also be inspected without injuring them. Sometimes cartilaginous-bony changes can be removed, which certainly contribute to the symptoms.  <\/p><p>This includes <strong>severing<\/strong> and obliterating the smallest <strong>nerves<\/strong> that supply the outer elbow area. (This procedure according to the Wilhelm method is also called denervation). <\/p><p>The combination of both procedures according to Hohmann and Wilhelm is preferred by many hand
