The causes are complex. In some cases, diseases from the internal endocrinological (hormonal) area are responsible.  <\/p><p>However, it is often not a case of generalized sweating all over the body, but of <strong>increased underarm perspiration<\/strong>. removal surgery<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-335684e5 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"335684e5\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3>Anesthesia, narcosis<\/h3><p>The removal of sweat glands is usually performed under <strong>sedation (twilight sleep)<\/strong> with local anesthesia. However, we can also plan the procedure in D\u00fcsseldorf under <strong>local anesthesia<\/strong> only. We only use <strong>general anesthesia<\/strong> for very anxious patients.  <\/p><h3>OP duration<\/h3><p>Including the exposure time to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yuveo.de\/en\/op\/body\/liposuction-duesseldorf\/\">tumescent solution<\/a>, you should allow around <strong>60-90 minutes<\/strong> for the procedure.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yuveo.de\/en\/op\/body\/sweat-gland-suction\/\">Sweat gland suction<\/a> is actually only one <strong>part of sweat gland removal<\/strong>, as we will explain below.<\/p><h3>The operation<\/h3><p>The start of lipocurettage is the same as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yuveo.de\/en\/op\/body\/liposuction-duesseldorf\/\">liposuction<\/a>. Our plastic surgeons anaesthetize the puncture site and then inject the tumescent solution, which contains anaesthetics, among other things. After a reaction time of 20-30 minutes, the sweat glands can be removed.  <\/p><p>Similar to liposuction, the <strong>sweat glands<\/strong> swollen by the tumescent solution and, in some cases, <strong>axillary fat tissue are suctioned out<\/strong>.<\/p><p>The incision for the suction cannulas measures approximately 5 mm and is located in the axillary fold. It is practically invisible after sweat gland removal. <\/p><p>We protect important vessels and nerves during the operation.<\/p><h3>After liposuction, surgical procedure for the skin areas<\/h3><p>Unfortunately, it is impossible to destroy the parts of the sweat glands close to the skin using sweat gland suction. For this reason, at Yuveo we have to perform a sometimes quite vigorous curettage of these areas after the procedures described so far.
