been optimized to the same extent as breast implants. Liquid silicone is <strong>no<\/strong> longer used for them either, but (cohesive) <strong>silicone gel<\/strong> instead. <\/p><p>The stability of the outer shell is excellent thanks to multiple layers. It is very unlikely that the buttock implants will be damaged, even in the event of severe bruising and impact. The implants can withstand the usual stresses on the buttocks anyway.  <\/p><h3 class=\"et_pb_toggle_title\">What is the surface quality of the buttock implants?<\/h3><div class=\"et_pb_toggle_content clearfix\"><p>The surface texture of butt implants and breast implants is called texturing. Textured surfaces are standard for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yuveo.de\/en\/op\/breast-surgery-duesseldorf\/breast-implants\/\">breast implants<\/a>. Three basic <strong>variants<\/strong> are available for buttock augmentation implants:  <\/p><ul class=\"list\"><li>The <strong>smooth<\/strong> implants (&#8216;non-textured&#8217;). The <strong>smooth surface<\/strong> is most commonly used for buttock augmentation. <\/li><li>A <strong>slightly textured<\/strong> surface is also frequently used for buttock correction.<\/li><li>The <strong>rough butt implants <\/strong>(&#8216;textured&#8217;): As with breast implants, their surface is designed to reduce the likelihood of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yuveo.de\/en\/lexikon\/capsular-fibrosis-capsular-thickening\/\">capsular fibrosis<\/a> after surgery.<\/li><li>However, as the implants for buttock augmentation are usually placed <strong>under or in the muscle<\/strong>, capsular fibrosis is rarely encountered. The situation is different with buttock implants placed on the gluteal muscle.
