There are various options for surgical correction in intimate surgery<\/a> today. In addition to labia reduction <\/a>and vaginal tightening<\/a>, this also includes if you want or need to have your hymen sutured for a valid reason. <\/p>\n

Having your hymen sutured: intimate surgery at the Yuveo Clinic D\u00fcsseldorf<\/h2>\n

The operation to restore the hymen<\/strong> can be performed under local anesthesia<\/strong> with twilight sleep<\/strong> or, if desired, under general anesthesia<\/strong> after appropriate preparation and a detailed explanation by our intimate surgeons.<\/p>\n

In principle, even local anesthesia is possible, but not necessarily pleasant. For this reason, our D\u00fcsseldorf team usually recommends at least a twilight sleep<\/strong> (sedation). <\/p>\n

Once the anaesthetic has taken effect, we proceed differently depending on the findings. In fact, there are women who do not have ahymen<\/strong> at all, so it is not always as easy to get stitches as you might think. <\/p>\n

In such cases, we use flap plasty, in which the membranes<\/strong> are moved and sutured<\/strong> so that they grow together as desired.<\/p>\n

If there is a tear<\/strong>, you can have the hymen sutured, depending on the findings, especially if there is still some of it left. This is then the simpler case. <\/p>\n

If there is not much left, our intimate surgery team may need to perform a skin<\/strong> (or mucosal) transfer.<\/p>\n

Depending on the findings described above, the operation takes 30-45 minutes<\/strong> and can be performed on an outpatient basis<\/strong>. Afterwards, patients who have just undergone surgery remain in our D\u00fcsseldorf clinic for approximately half an hour for observation and monitoring. <\/p>\n

Aftercare for hymen surgery in the intimate surgery department of the Yuveo Clinic<\/h2>\n

After a patient has had her hymen stitched, she must observe the following points to ensure that the wound heals without complications.<\/p>\n

    \n
  • The pain<\/strong> after this operation is very moderate. Nevertheless, we always provide painkillers<\/strong> so that they can be taken if necessary. <\/li>\n
  • Postoperatively, the wound area<\/strong> is covered with a bandage. The wound may occasionally ooze or bleed slightly. <\/li>\n
  • There are virtually no restrictions on everyday life. Bed rest is not necessary. <\/li>\n
  • Rest<\/strong> in the sense of abstaining from sport should be strictly adhered to for 5 to 6 weeks<\/strong>. This also applies to cycling and similar local strains. <\/li>\n
  • The stitches<\/strong> do not need to be removed if self-dissolving sutures are used. Only if people are prone to suture reactions with self-dissolving suture material would sutures be used, which must be removed after approx. 2 weeks in the Yuveo Clinic. <\/li>\n
  • No special scar care<\/strong> is required as long as the recovery period is observed and the suture heals properly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    How much does it cost to have the hymen stitched?<\/h2>\n

    The cost<\/strong> of this intimate surgery depends on various factors. In Germany, you can expect the following: <\/p>\n

    The twilight sleep<\/strong> alone, if this is desired, incurs costs, depending on how long the restoration of the hymen takes. If general anesthesia<\/strong> is desired, it can be somewhat more expensive. <\/p>\n

    You will incur your own costs for the operation. If the operation is performed under local anesthesia<\/strong> only, no anesthesia costs<\/strong> are incurred. <\/p>\n

    If it is combined<\/strong> with other operations or non-surgical procedures, higher prices must be expected overall.<\/p>\n
