At the Yuveo Clinic, we use Sculptra®, a poly-L-lactic acid preparation, among other things, to inject wrinkles.
Poly-L-lactic acid is a body-compatible, biodegradable agent for skin improvement.
The filler Sculptra® is very suitable for increasing the volume of sunken skin areas. We can use it to treat fine lines, wrinkles and scars on the neck, face, upper arms, in areas showing cellulite and in the Brazilian butt lift.
This treatment stimulates the formation of new connective tissue and collagen in the injected skin areas, which increases the water-binding capacity and produces a gentle and natural smoothing effect on the skin.
This skin improvement makes your skin look fresh, firm and rejuvenated again.
We will be happy to advise you on the treatment options and recommend an individual treatment concept tailored to your skin.

Special features of this wrinkle treatment
Sculptra® improves the skin by injecting polylactic acid to stimulate the production of elastin and collagen. With Sculptra® we achieve a wonderful skin rejuvenation effect.
Poly-L-lactic acid
Sculptra® treatment procedure
We dissolve the sterile poly-L-lactic acid powder in sterile saline solution and prepare it for injection.
The injection fluid is injected into the connective tissue layer of the skin (dermis) or into the subcutaneous fatty tissue using sterile, blunt, disposable needles.
We work with you in advance to determine how deep the injection should be and how much filler should be used. This depends on the skin area and the desired result of the skin improvement.
As Sculptra® is not a classic filler, such as hyaluronic acid, the wrinkle treatment effect is not immediate, but develops gradually. It is visible after about 4 to 5 weeks.
Important request to you: The treated skin areas must be massaged regularly and evenly so that the active ingredient can spread well. We will show you the best way to do this.
Our Yuveo team recommends two treatments to refresh the skin and achieve an even, rejuvenating result.
For large-area treatments, such as the butt lift, larger quantities of filler are used to achieve the optimum effect.
Frequently asked questions about the Sculptra® treatment
Which wrinkles can be treated with Sculptra®?
We treat fine lines, wrinkles and scars on the face, neck, upper arms, cellulite and butt lift.
What are the special features of this biostimulator?
Sculptra® ensures gentle and gradual skin tightening.
It has a stimulating effect on the growth of connective tissue cells and on the formation of water-binding collagen.
A natural refreshing of the skin can be achieved after two treatments.
What side effects can occur?
Wrinkle treatment with Sculptra® is generally very well tolerated. The injection components are synthetically produced, biocompatible and are broken down naturally by the body.
Minor effects occurring shortly after the injection may include pain in the injection area, reddening of the skin, hematomas, swelling of the skin, sensitivity to touch or itchy skin.
The side effects that occur are only temporary and subside on their own after a few days or weeks.
If small nodules form, which should not be the case if the skin is massaged well, these are gradually dissolved by the body’s own metabolic processes.
How is the follow-up treatment carried out?
Post-injection treatment may require cooling of the skin if swelling occurs.
Please note that you must massage the treated areas yourself in order to achieve an aesthetic result.
We recommend a second treatment about 5 weeks after the first.
