What is a filler lift?
A breast lift is a breast operation in which a combination of lifting and breast implant insertion is performed.
In the vast majority of cases, slightly sagging breasts are filled with breast implants to increase the volume. The use of Macrolane, a highly cross-linked hyaluronic acid, has also been used in the past to fill the breast in the sense of a breast lift. However, breast augmentation with silicone implants is more effective.
The filler lift is often performed during breast involution.
Breast involution describes breast shrinkage after pregnancy and breastfeeding. After breastfeeding, the mammary gland shrinks. This becomes smaller, which in turn means a relative excess of skin.
Women often complain of a decrease in breast volume by 2 bra sizes. This loss of volume can be filled by breast augmentation. As this is usually not sufficient, a breast lift often has to be performed in addition.
In addition to breast involution, the consequences of major weight loss with a massive reduction in breast volume are also common indications for a breast lift.
What costs should you expect?
The costs include the costs for a breast augmentation and the costs for a breast lift. A discount is usually granted in this combination, as the total cost is lower in one session despite the double procedure. Compared to a two-stage procedure, you also save on anesthesia.
