The operation is preceded by a detailed consultation and planning. We involve you closely in the essential steps and you have an idea in advance of how the implant will adapt and change your forehead area.
The operation takes about 2 to 3 hours and you will be given a general anesthetic.
Course of surgery
We detach the scalp from the skull bone in the forehead area. The custom-made forehead implant is then placed on the bone and fixed securely with tiny screws.
We then ensure an aesthetic and safe multi-layer wound suture.
We recommend that you stay at the Yuveo Clinic for one night for observation after the procedure.

Possible complaints after the operation

You will receive decongestant painkillers from us to alleviate the discomfort.
We will apply a head bandage to help reduce the swelling.

As with any surgical procedure, infections, post-operative bleeding or discomfort due to anesthesia can occur.
